Back from Canada 700 1988

Rob, when I was a kid, I took a trip to Europe on a Container ship. My friend and I had to fly to Boston then to St. Johns NB. where we stayed for a few days. We took a bus tour and saw the reversing falls, several sights in the area including a Fort. The most interesting part of the fort were the 'Tumble Stairs' which were intentionally misaligned to throw off attackers trying to follow the soldiers up the stairs.

The Bay of Funday tides were fantastic. The ship arrived and docked at one height and was loaded at various heights due to the 12 foot tides. The Bay is in resonance with the tides.

We occasionally get up to Ontario to see Niagra Falls and my home town of Oakwille, on Lake Ontario as well as other areas.

Sounds like a good trip and I hope you post more pics of your trip.
