Best place to get replacement antenna? 200

Hi all, what is the best place to get a replacement antenna for my 88 240? It is a power antenna, but I want to replace it with something reliable and that gets good reception. Is there anything better out there other than facory replacement stuff?
Also, when I installed my new head unit there was a wire with a spade connector that was run with the antenna wire. Is this a signal booster, and does it need 12 volts? It was hooked up to the factory radio, but I left it unhooked not knowing what it was.
