ka-BAM! 700 1992

Hey guys,

I've owned my '91 745T for almost 2 years now and it seems to me like the tranny has been shifting smoother in the last couple months then it did before. Weird. The fluid is clean, but hasn't been flushed for probably about 20K km or so. I drive with a fairly heavy foot, but often let off to induce upshifts when accelerating moderately. Sometimes when I'm accelerating hard the 2-3 shift is almost unnoticable, very smooth. Now, my '91 745NA's AW70 is a rough shifter. It's 1-2 shift is almost always rough and it usually holds the gears too long. I've adjusted the kickdown cable and it made a small difference, but it's certainly not the same as the AW71 in the other Vo. Oh, the fluid is clean in the AW70 as well, but I don't know when it was last flushed.
