Update on new engine that won't start... 700

This is a little off the wall - What ECU/injector relay/harness are you using? The 1989? The one from the B23FT? Mix and match? Haven't thought this one out completely, but the 89 hookup ran the + feed for the injectors through a radio suppressor relay mounted on the coolant overflow tank. Before 1989, the + feed came from the ECU. Could there be a conflict with the injectors expecting power from one source, not getting it, or getting from another, or getting from two sources?

Like I said, a bit off the wall.

This is more a question than an answer. Can you test an injector by unplugging the ECU, and running a 12 volt feed and ground directly to the injector, and listen for the click?
