replacing Voltage regulator brushes

I cut the small brush wire even with the crimp and filed it flat. I then took a small drill and drilled down to remove most of the old Brush wire. Heated it witha solder Iron and useda small pick to open up the crimp further. It gave me a hole big enough to feed the new lead through.
I didn't even know Volvo had the other kind with the Terminal.
