240 turbo alternator--options?

The oil pressure sender is the killer for a fatter alternator swap.

Even replacing a 55A on '83 with no intercooler the other day, I had to loosen the fan pulley to get the belts back on.

This was with the 925mm belts (vs the 918mm) Maybe longer belt, like 930 or 935 would make it doable.

I've got a bunch of belts around, but wasn't into experimenting at that point. Actually I didn't even think of it till now (truth in posting)
