'88 to '84 tire swap or deathwish? 200

My brother in law is parting out his '88 240 DL wagon and I'm eyeing the lovely tires he bought before the transmission went south 4 months later, and the not-nearly-as-rusty-as-mine rims. Is this a possible swap to an '84 240 DL wagon or a deathwish?

Btw - I did the sparkplugs all by myself! I kick ass for a pregnant chick. The hormones make you hardcore. I was too embarassed to bring the car in to my mechanic for something as simple as changing sparkplugs, after what everyone told me. Did 'em one at a time and couldn't f*** it up. Car runs waaaaaay better. Gracias! :-)

I can't wait for the baby to come so I can spend my maternity leave renovating the driver's side seat on the '89.
