Splash Guard/Undertray - Ditch or Keep? 900 1992

Dear DougW,

Good p.m. and may this find you well. Kane is 100% right: the tray is there for a purpose.

When I installed a new one, I used stainless fender washers, to prevent the sort of damage you report to the attaching points. I bought one from an on-line supplier for about $22+shipping. Its well worth it, as the shield protects front end components and the drive belts against splashing water, stones, other debris, etc.

Hope this helps.

All the best for 2004: you, yours, your cars!!!

Yours,

spook
