Parts that are exchangeable on 73-74 144 with a 71 142 140-160

Hate to sound disagreeable with previous posts but even if the difference
in years doesn't matter, 142 doors are much longer than 144 doors. Some
of the hardware in the door will work but the door and glass will not, and
it is virtually impossible to cut tempered glass without blowing it up.
Also if your 71 has the old style door handles (that stick out) the flush
door handles are not interchangeable.
The best way to tell on the hood and trunk is to take some measurements and
check latch and mounting points for similarity/difference.
