HD Headlight Harness 200

Has anyone out there installed the IPD HD headlight wiring harness or something similar? Its supposed to wire the lights more directly to the battery and give you higher output and better performance even from standard headlights. I'm interested in doing this because the lights on my '84 240 seem to be kind of dim. I realize there are other things that could be causing this too. I'm particularly interested if any of you have these while still running stock lights not upgraded lights like the Cibie's. I'm interested in how those perform with the HD harness too but I'd like to upgrade the harness first and see what it does on its own.

Any input appreciated.
