Chassis Braces 900

I put an upper strut brace on my 1999 V70 and had a noticeable improvement in the ride and handling on rough roads and during turning. I want to get similar results for my 1993 940 NA.

The best seems to be to put on both upper and lower Cherry Turbo Braces, at a cost of $203 plus shipping (from IPD). But I also saw IPD has a steel lower brace (no upper) for the 940 also. It is a curved steel single rolled bar type, I'm sure not as rigid as the Cherrys, for about $47 plus.

The car is mostly my wife's so will not be drive to extremes. Will the single rolled bar design (which I believe is similar to the one that can be purchased from Volvo) provide some improvement and benefit? Ours is not a race car, but some improvement would be good.

Thanks
