Porkface, ever heard of this? 200

a wise wizard (nearby neighbor) told me that he had heard of people cleaning out the air intake / injectors on a car by mixing 1/2 water and 1/2 techron and letting it get sucked into the TB via a funnel on a pulled vacuum line.

I understand how it can help clean up the carbon and seems kinda ok, but is this safe? any possiblity of fire? any better method for cleaning up carbon in the Intake man. and on valves?

just curious,
chuck
