tool for OD 700

For the OD unit control plugs. I use a "Martin" (Brand Name) Adjustable spanner wrench #482. I purchased it from a bearing supply company.

Martin has a web site which lists vendors in various areas of the country.

DO NOT use Dextron. It will allow bad things to happen inside your TRANSMISSION....the OD could care less. Your fluid choice is limited to Type F ATF, a straight 30w Motor oil if temp never gets below 20 degrees F. or a synthetic trans fluid that is Type F specific. Other Synthetic tans fluids can cause problems with the OD by being too slippery.

Under the center plug is the pump. Anything in there would cause a problem warm or cold so at this juncture, leave that area alone.

Did you change the internal O-rings in the solenoid?

Slipping when warm can also be caused by low fluid.
