Emissions help needed 200 1988

My '88 245DL with M47 transmission and 136k miles failed emissions testing for the first time ever. Readings were 1.4067GPM HC (1.4000 limit), 9.0658 GPM CO (30.000 limit), 3.0940 GPM NO (2.5000 limit), and 302.8702 GPM CO2 (no limit for test). Checked for air leaks and couldn't find any. Replaced oxygen sensor, air filter last fall. New spark plugs just before test. Last test, 2 years ago the numbers were MUCH lower (0.0403 GPM HC, 0.1432 GPM CO, 0.0772 GPM NO, and 33.8875 GPM CO2). Any ideas what could be wrong? Should I replace the Cat (its original)?

Thanks.
