m46 to m47 200

Uhh, I guess I'll just respond the same way I did in your other identical thread...

You would probably be better off sticking with an M-46. They are built a lot stronger then the M-47s are.

Also, your current speedometer won't hook up to an M-47. You have a mechanical speedometer in your '77, while all the M-47 were hooked up to cars that had electrical speedometers.

Also, I don't know if an M-47 will hook up to a B21F, which is the engine you have in the '77.

M-46s are more common in the junk yards anyway. I'm pushing 250K on the M-46 in my '80 245 (427K on the car), and the OD is still good as ever.
