IPD sway bar installation - help 140-160

I have a used set of sway bars for a '75 164E. The front bar installation was obvious and went on easily. The rear, however, I'm not sure about. The bolts at the end line up with the shock mount bolts, and the bolts closest to the bar line up with holes already in the trailing arms. However, the trailing arms are not square at this point, and there is a ~1/4" gap between the IPD bar and the trailing arms here. Am I missing some hardware (spacers, etc)?

I am assuming that the bar should hang just below the differential cover rather than the other way around (just below the yoke at the input of the diff.)

Thanks,

Adam
