Where to mount airhorns & compressor 200 1989

Hi ALL,

As the original horns tend to go easily , surely there have been other installing new horns. In my case, I got a deal I could not resist on a set of Hella air horns. Question is , where do I mount everything?

1.. Is it OK to mount then in the position of the stock horns, but the cones pointing to the side of the vehicle to avoid water going in? Are air horns sensative to this?

2.. Is it ok to mount everything to the inner fender (shock tower) but on the exhaust side of the motor? Will the heat warp the plastic cones of the air horns? What about the compressor? I would have liked the other side, but space is really limited, doubt I could fit everything.

The horns would be louder behind the front grill, but nicer looking in the engine compartment (they look cool).

Any advice?
Has anyone done this? Anyone have any leads to any pics I can use as examples?

Thanks,
