You were getting close-you probably got about 90% of the air out but not
the moisture. You really want 29" of vacuum with a dynamic system - one
that keeps pumping. That is what you gotta do to get moisture out.
If it recently lost its charge and didn't stand open for any time it
may be pretty dry and little air in the system.
