prepump installation 200 1982

I am about to attempt a prepump installation on my 1982 GLT. I have purchased all of the parts and the 'bung' tool from ipd and am just waiting for a favourable opportunity.

Can you forewarn me of any impending pitfalls. Will the fuel lines be impossible to remove since they have been there for over twenty years, for example. Will I have to cut them off or can they be pulled off without a huge hassle.

Please let me know what you think.

Bob
