262c bertone sway bars? compatable? 200

I do not think the sway bars are any better than the sway bars on the stock 240's. The ones on my 79 262C & 264GL look about the same when compared to the stock sway at the boneyards but I could be wrong. Come to think of it I think I did hear somewhere that the 260 sways were a bit thicker, but not by much.

As far as the springs go the 260's front springs are a little stiffer then the stock 240's but not as stiff as the DIESEL springs. I believe that one of the regular posters has upgraded to 260 springs so you might want to get some info from him/her. I believe that the person that has done the upgrade has that on their signature. I'm sure the 260 springs will give you a firmer ride when compared to the 240 stock springs. I must say that both of the 260's I drive have a nice, responsive, and comfortable ride. Good Luck!

Sincerely,
