Thanks for the post, you might have set me on the path to figuring out my wierd hood problem.

My hood is slightly bent downward at the rear edge, in the middle. When opening it rubs against the panel that sits directly behind it, the one with the grille below the center of the windshield and the wiper shafts protruding from it. Seems to get worse in hotter weather.

I'll look at/measure hinge arm movement and post results in a couple of days.
