First of all, does anyone have anything else they can comment on in my last thread? It doesn't seem like i tapped the whole of brickboard master knowledge. Close, but i had some more questions in responses. Well, i think i did. But yeah, on to this topic:
Well, two things causing the Grr. One being i'm dropping my math class and won't be able to take some classes i was planning on taking next year. I might even take a year off of school. Needs more thinking to be done. Another thing that's causing me problems is my car... More on that later, after the GOOD news. I GOT A JOB!!! w00h00! FINALLY! So yeah, i got my first four hours in today, from orientation at Hewlet Packard's World Campus as a security guard. YAY! So yeah, i'm nervous, i don't know anything about the campus yet, and i don't really know what all a security guard has to know and what not and i'm already working tomorrow... Training still isn't over, but whatever. JOB enough said.
OK, so the CAR.
Well, what's new, the thing stinks all the time when i let off the gas when going over 60mph... George, i think you get to take the imaginary prize home for getting the problem. But here's the thing that really pissed me off tonight on my way back from salem(1/2 hour drive at 60-80mph). First of all, my car hates cold air. And then for the story. My car ran fine(well, it ran as well as it can with the weber) on the way up to salem, but that was when it was 85ish degrees out. On the way back, i stopped at the local gas station that has the cheapest prices and supposedly the nicest service in all of oregon. Tecko(look it up...). Well, i've gotten a full tank from them before and experienced nothing abnormal. With the half tank i got tonight, and the 65-70degree weather when driving home, my car ran like s**t. NO JOKE! Worst it has EVER been. Backfired so many times, the weber's normal symptoms were exagerrated(sp) like no other. Couldn't hold a speed worth a crap. Seem like ignition problems because of all the unburnt gasses, and then it seemed like fuel problems at the same time, as if it were starving for fuel(like a clogged filter), but i know it isn't that cause i just replaced the filter and it runs fine at full throttle for however long i want... In any case, it ran like CRAP, worse than ever, backfired a ton, made my eyes hurt, always makes me tired, and it isn't cool at all. I'm now going to start looking for a good car under $600 and take my 142 out of commision for a while. Just need somewhere to put it. Or something like that. Lots of stuff is up in the air right now, with me getting a job figured out, me failing and dropping a class before it goes on my record, me moving about, and trying to have some summer fun and other stuff. Wow, this place has become like a "blog" entry for me. I don't do blog entries. I guess i do. Random, thanks guys for everything and being there. I love this place.
