Just remember that if ou are having to manually force anything, you're doing it wrong. If you have a tilter on the crane , it should be a simple , time consuming , removal without any struggling, without a tilter, if it gets in a bind, lower it onto blocks and re-position the chain.
Whatever you do , don't try to force anything. there's alot of weight swinging around there and it's easy to get in trouble if you get in a hurry.

When pulling vacuum hoses etc, put a piece of tape on the hose and the fitting it came off and number each one so you won't have any guess work when going back in
