Best shocks for 97 960 wagon? 900 1997

Just got a '97 960 wagon after a long run with 760 and 940 turbos. The ride seems squishy and according to the service records, the front struts were replaced at 70k (now I am at 120K) I don't have nivomats and as far as I can tell, I have the multilink aka IRS suspension. I liked the boge heavy duty shocks on my 940 turbo sedan so I am looking for a stiffer shock. any recommendations??. It seems Bilstein does not offer a shock for this car and there are two different boge shocks available. I gave up on kybs. thanks alot. also, the FAQ sez you have to realign after any suspension changes. can I change the shocks without rear alignment?? thanks in advance
