Removing the bulb out relay completely, what would happen? 200 1988

The bulb indicator light on the dash, keeps coming on, even though all the light bulbs are working fine. I have replaced them in pairs, same brand, same wattage whatever, but to no avail, and that light bothers me.

My question is, what would happen if I remove that big red round light out relay completely. Would the car work fine, or am I asking for trouble.

Any comments are appreciated.
