94 960 timing belt change at 20K intervals? 900 1994

I just received an OEM Volvo engine service manual for my 94 960, and in the manual it specifies changing the timing belt at 50K. Along with the manual, I got a "Technical Service Literature Update" that instructs a change to this frequency to 20K intervals. Are all you guys and gals with 960's out there changing your timing belts that frequently?
