cruise control for 86 vacuum in engine bay--how to test servo line? 200

I'm installing a cc for my 86 245.

there are 2 lines coming from that vacuum thing in the engine bay: 1 vacuum, 1 to servo.

Just testing stuff, i sucked on the vacuum line leading to the vacuum thing--it seems to be closing something inside which appears to be working.

but when i sucked on the servo line leading to the vacuum thing--it never stopped or closed anything.

question: what should i expect when i create a vacuum leading to the servo side in the engine bay?

thanks,
byron
