91+ New style winshiled question 200

I just had a new style 91 and newer style winshield installed in my 1988 244 after a repaint. Pictures to come soon after I get some trim pieces. I love the way it looks and the way the tirm seems like it will stay on. However, I have noticed that water has come out from the bottom of the rubber trim on the outside of the winshild. Is this a normal thing. It certainly did with the old style, but, I just want to check. Thanks and happy bricking.
