760T - Idle jump at start up 700

I am having this small problem where the idle will jump up to about 1500 when I start and then goes back to idle speed. I remember hearing that deposits on the valves can hold fuel and cause this sort of thing? Could that be correct?

I have not run a top-engine cleaner through my engine 188K miles and am wondering if I should. I have read that these solutions can be pretty harsh - and an oil change is required after using some of these chemicals. I am hesitant because it is also a turbo and am not sure how chemicals in the oil will react in the turbo.

Any advice would be appreciated
