ultra weird light problem!! 200 1989

Here is a puzzle for you!

My 89 240 starting giving me dash lights; battery, parking brake, brake failure, bulb failure, all at once. All the lights were fine.

I went to autozone, checked the battery and recently rebuilt alternator, OK!

Tonite, dash lights persisted and headlights wouldn't work...all other running lights worked fine.

I perchance tried my dimmer switch. Lights came on but were low beam...no high beam available. Normal low beam gives no headllights.

What in the world??? Sure would appreciate a hint on this one. Is their a relay
switch, fuse, whatever?

Thanks,
Bill
