Should I buy a 1993 960? 900

I have had 245 Volvos for years, the latest is a 1982 but its time may be up so I am considering purchasing a 1993 960 wagon. Is this model problematic in any way. This car is from a Volvo dealer, has 90,000 miles and has just had a head job with all new valves, many seals replaced, new steering rack, front rotors and exhaust. All the work done by the dealer. This seems like a lot of things to go wrong on a car with 90,000 miles. Is there a history of other problems that are common to this model? Is it wise to own a car like this if I live a days drive from a Volvo dealer with all their diagnostics?
Thanks for any input.
