remote starter install 200 1989

240 B230F sedan 1989

I plan on installing a remote starter which i just bought.

Functions I want are ability to start, brake pedal without key to shut off car, and open/close the doors (it has pwr locks). Accesories need to run while car is idling from remote start too (heat/cool).

From some research, I think the job is doable... here is what I think i need. If anyone has done this please given me some advice:

1.. +12V high current (20A) power line from battery or elsewhere
2.. ignition wire (can I get this from fuse panel or only from switch at steering column?) - is there a second ignition wire?
3.. starter wire (can I get this from fuse panel or only from switch at steering column?)
4.. accessory wire, to power accesories when car idling (can I get this from fuse panel or only from switch at steering column?)
5.. parking light wire - to turn on p.lights when car idling (where can i tap this - light switch?)
6.. brake wire (to turn off car when brake is pressed without key (is this at the top of the brake pedal- easy access?)
7.. tach wire - for controller to see engine running and shut off starter (can i get this elsewhere than from the tach?)
8.. ground - ok
9.. lock wire - fuse panel or do i need to open the driver door up?
10.. unlock wire - fuse panel or do i need to open the driver door up?

These are all i think i need. I do not forsee needing any extra relays.
Any advice as to where to best tap the wires would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
