Fourth Brake Light Help 900

I got a replacement trunk lid for my son’s car and it happened to have an OEM spoiler with a brake light. It is gong on my wife’s car. Question, how does it hook up without lighting the bulb-out indicator? I know the third brake light is part of the bulb-out circuit and any load added to the existing circuit would ignite the warning bulb. One option would be to run a wire to the brake switch wire, ahead of the indicator.

Both the boot lid and the spoiler are getting a professional paint job by a hot rod builder this weekend. Material alone is going to cost $200 plus (two different colors). Luckily, labor will be much lighter.
