Blower Motor - Need some encouragement. 700

The blower motor in my '91 740 is squealing and needs replacement. I read how to do it in the FAQ but we wondering how difficult this is going to be. I am always nervous about digging under the dash, so I just wanted to hear from people who have done it on how easy or hard of a job it is. Also in the FAQ it says "Some cutting and modification may be required depending on the style of the motor." What exactly does this mean? If I buy the replacement motor from IPD would I have to worry about this? Thanks
