1993 964 Engine Won't Start--Fuel Pump? 900 1993

Car was driving just fine but when I went to move it to the other side of the street (I live in New York) and it would crank but wouldn't fire. Plugs checked OK but it doesn't seem to be creating pressure in the fuel rail. Swapped relays to no effect. I'm pretty sure that it is the fuel pump and I figure might as well swap the fuel filter while I'm at it.

The filter has banjo fittings on either side any advice for taking these things off? Also, should I drop the entire pump/filter bracket or will it suffice to drop one side and bend it. It's stuck so whatever is quickest for now would be helpful.
