'Floaty' Tach and intermittent stalling 700 1990

Hi Tim,

May be way off here but worth a look. I have an 86 744 with the Hall Sensor and fender wall Ignition Amplifier (and AMM etc.) After checking and cleaning many things, I found that the plug wires were just not up to speed.

After plugs, cap & rotor, hall sensor check, TB lean out, FP relay switch -> new set of the Volvo wires and no random stalling, chugging and 'wet weather' antics.

Best of Luck!

Greg
