idle fluctuates but only with fan blower on 900

i have a 93 945 turbo and have noticed it idles fine with the fan off but when i turn on the fan to any speed or temp it makes the idle drop 100-200rpms every 5 to
10 seconds. the a/c needs a charge but besides that the car is in fine running order. my guess is its some vacuum related thing..any ideas? or things i should check. thanks. erik
