Confused about engine code checkup 900

Fuel injection ----- Regina or LH Jetronic 2.4--Read from Socket 6
Ignition system --- Rex or EZ 116K--------------Read from Socket 2

Most Codes are shared by both systems and Table 3 should probably say “Regina and LH Jetronic Fuel Injection Fault Codes. Read from socket 2.” There are some discrepancies like Code 1-2-1, faulty air mass sensor signal in the LH or a MAP pressure sensor signal fault in the Regina. 2-2-2 is Regina only. I think there may be others.

If you pulled code 2-4-1 from socket 6, it an issue with the EGR system which would send a signal to the check engine light. I would check the hoses, clear the code and wait for the code to repeat itself. There is cleaning information in the FAQ for the EGR but the thing is so hard to get to and remove.
