removing/reinstalling my alternator- anyone know of a page? helpful tips? 200 1990

so I found someone to rebuild the alternator- 60$ plus parts- not super cheap, but everything is expensive in AK. the shop charges 80 bucks just to remove it and put it back in- I was looking at it and it doesn't look that hard- not worth 80$ at least.- First of all I have to get the belts off- is there a release somewhere? or do I just pry them off? (you've guess it- I've never worked on this part of a car before) after that it looks like there are just 2 bolts correct? both accessible from the top (as in not laying underneath the engine)? once I get it off- its off to the shop to be rebuilt, I figure at that point I should be able to put it in again fairly easily. the only thing that I'm wondering is how to re-seat the belts adn make sure they have the right tension. thanks
Luke
