Gobsmacked by Groton

That's good to know, it'll be a pleasure ordering from them in the future.
I posted not only to praise FCP Groton's service, but as a subliminal jog to the readers that are as reluctant to order car parts online as I was.

There's a lot of mental resistance in some of us who grew up pre-computer gearheads. It seems like a big step from the parts counter to the website, but it really is a painless transition.

Even for those parts a local supplier is able to source, their quoted man-in-the-street, Column 1 price may be four times higher than FCP's. Don't believe? Check for yourself. Often the part will take three days to be transported from the warehouse to your local store. Even if the store had the part in stock, 400 percent markup is too rich for me to justify.
