740GL Oxygen and RPM sensors 700 1989

My 89 740GL just stranded me in the middle of the road for about 10 minutes after which it started and idled roughly. I had to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep the RPMs high enough or it would have died on me again. When I got to a stop I opened the hood and tested the OBD which gave me error codes 232 and 214 on port 2 and 6 respectively. Those two codes point to my RPM and Oxygen sensors. Problem is, I have no idea how to swap out either one. Can anyone help? Also, there is a universal O2 sensor on fcpgroton that is $50 compared to $100+ for the direct fit models. Does anyone have any experience with that particular part?
