Front Seat Adjusters? 120-130

I've got two sets of amazon seats. The set in the car have headrests but poor upholstery. the spare set have nice upholstery, but no headrests. The issue is that all four seats have the standard volvo adjustment knob, but both the headrest-less seats (from a 122 sedan), and the headrest equiped seatscannot be adusted forward or backwards more than a degree or two. It's quite uncomfortable and I'm not sure if they are *all* broken, or this was an intentional design feature.

The side brackets look just like the ones in a 140. If they are not meant to be adjustable, could I grab a set from a 140 and install those?
