Smoothing out the door panels S90-V90 1997

My car is typical of most of the 960/s90's with the wrinkled leather at the top of the door panel. I have the alldata description of how to remove the panels, they specify it should take .2 hours (12 mins) of technician time to remove one. Question I have is this, has anybody done this already, and if so what should I expect. Any gotcha's trying to loosen the material and reapply it so that it looks good again? I also have the driver's side door handle that does not snap back that could also be repaired. Appreciate any responses. If anybody is interested, I've included a diagram of the front door.
