Yet another oil question S90-V90

now that the 960's (at least my 2) are not spring chickens anymore, the wifes 960 has finally caught up with mine, both at around 221k.still using dino and at this milage i'm sure the tolerances have opened up a bit.i usually run 10-30 winter and 10-40 summer.volvo says you can run go to 15-40,but i'm considering 20-50 at the next change.i use castrol and have never had a problem using 20-50 on previous cars including turbos.my 94 engine is slightly noisier than the 92's,which is the reason i'm contemplating this.what do you think?
almost a 1/4 million miles between the 2.not bad for the dogging the 960's get by some.
