Like Jeff/jds145 said: what about the 38/38? You just use the weber manifold (with its unequal runners) and bolt on the 38/38. In sweden all weber downdrafts used on B18/20's are 38/38 it seems. It seems they are able to get quite a bit of power using them (not without other mods offcourse...)

I read somewhere that the only reason the B18/20 weber conversion was using the 32/36 DGV had to do with some marketing strategy. Perfromance/technical-wise it should have been sold with the 38/38 synch carb. Any truth in that?
