Voltage Spikes 940 900

I have read about voltage spikes and related problems.
I have s apeedometer that jumps when standing still and sticks anywhere from 20 to 50 mph then will jump back to 0. I want to fix this before it knocks out the computer...

People say to check grounds, replace cap, rotor wires and coil.

Cap Rotor and Wires is pretty basic, mine look good should I still replace them?

How hard is it to replace the coil ?

Is the coil a real problem or a common cause of problems ?

There are two grounds that seem tight from the cam cover to the firewall, should I pull them and clean them... ?

I have pulled and soldered all the other ground connectors.
