My youngest Daughter saw the car I was thinking about buying from my last post (dint buy it, long story for later) and wants a 242.

I missed out on one in FL not too long ago. Wish I could have found a way, but I wasn't able to.

How hard is it going to be to find a good 242 body???? Everything I've found around here (Alabama, GA and TN) has been pure junk. I don't mind doing some minor repairs, and I plan on painting, but I don't want a "bondo buckett". Has it been chance, or are all the 242s that aren't being held on to for dear life getting trashed down here?

More of a rant than a post. sorry.....

If anyone's near NE AL and has a decent 242 body for sale, I'm definately interested. I don't even care about enine and trans!. lol
