Low idle 200 1983

Recently I replaced the stock exhaust on my B21FT with a low restriction 3" version. A couple of problems cropped up immediately and I'm hoping someone can shorten my troubleshooting time. For one, the idle has begun to lope. It varies about once a second between about 900 and 1100 rpm. Not a major problem but annoying. More serious is that, when coming to a stop with my foot off the accelerator, the idle will dip to nearly 500 rpm and frequently stall. Off idle the car runs great and once I "save" the idle with a blip of the accelerator, I'm fine. I also have the ipd turbo cam in but that was long before the exhaust. Possibly mixture at the fuel dist? What do you think?
