Oil pressure gauge installation & wiring 700

I've acquired one of the optional oil pressure gauges which fits in the upper right corner of the instrument panel (where the turbo gauge goes on 740T cars), and am in the process of installing it, but an uncertainty has become apparent...

Where do I obtain the (+) voltage for the gauge? It appears I have two choices - first would be the system voltage as seen by the voltmeter (which will obviously vary somewhat, but would be a nominal 13.8 volts), and second would be the lower, regulated (IIRC) voltage used by the water temp and fuel level gauges.

I am inclined to go for the lower, regulated voltage source, but since the gauge was an option, I'm not entirely sure... I have a full set of the "green books", but don't find any mention in the electrical section.

I presume that the (-) would go direct to ground.

Anyone have an idea - or better yet, the Volvo instructions?

TIA...
