OK, two quick questions.

1) Explain what you mean by starting and then stoping when you release to positon II. Does the car go dead or studder a while. If you keep it III does the starter howl after the car starts.


2) In II does the brown wire on the ignition coil (term#15) have 12 volts on it. Also what color is the distributor cap. To test it, put a wire from the + side of the battery to the brown wire on the coil and see if the cars runs in II. If it does I may have your answer

To verify what kind of fuel injection you have check the injectors. If they have electrical wires on each you have LH. If the have only fuel lines you have K-jet. The most common in 82 is K-jet like mine.
